THANKS NP/GLOBALX

It's just neat when God allows people to serve as reminders that He takes care of His children. We recently had two guys from North Point help us with the lighting and I.T. and everyone would agree that they poured their hearts out in making sure they've done all they could to make our environments function to its full capacity. We even had some bit of time to make fun of each other, and that's a good thing. Thanks North Point for sending those amazing guys to us. We even gained two lifetime brothers in the process. Love you guys!
PS...at this moment a team from GlobalX is serving with us to make our anniversary this Sunday a hit in God's eyes. THANKS GLOBALX

N.O.W.

We just had our night of worship last sunday and we really had a good turnout of people. Although some are members of other churches, they came because they really wanted to worship God. I must say it was nerve wracking when it was my turn to share a little bit regarding how I felt when my dad passed away. It was just hard to explain the things that happened during NOW, in a good way. It's just amazing to see God's hand when everyone just trusted God to work.
This Sunday is the church's 4th year anniversary and this is will be my 2nd year to celebrate it with them. One can never fully describe God's goodness and faithfulness. Just help us pray that we stay faithful in serving Him as God continues to allow us to.

Thanks to small group!

One of my small grp members' brother passed away a few days ago. It brought back memories of my dad's passing when I saw how hurt he was. I was still there in the US when my dad died. One thing that I won't forget is how my small group were there during those trying times. They cried with me, prayed for me and stood by my side just to let me know they cared and boy it sure made a big difference being surrounded by friends that love you. So I'll make sure I'll be there for him just like how the guys were to me. To the guys, thanks. I miss you all but your love keeps me going.

First Family Birthday!!!

We recently had our very first Family Birthday celebration and I must say I didn't even bother to pretend that I wasn't crying. Seeing kids share their testimony is just something that creates the warm fuzzies inside especially when two of my co-staff baptized their own kids...talk about crying a river. Special events like this makes you realize how adult people such as I am complicate things when it can be handled the simplest way. How awesome it is to see a child take that step of faith!!!
Thank You Lord for allowing me to see this with my own eyes...

Hmmppp!!!

Greetings my friends. I guess you could say I went through some thorns and thistles along the way and had a drought of entries to my blog. Honestly, I was a bit discouraged not hearing from my friends overseas so it lessened my desire to write. I know, I know, I shouldn't think that way but I know you can somehow relate to one's moments of emotional lapses. WE can be easy targets when we get so into the daily routine of our busy schedules and fail to pause and remind US why we're doing what we're doing. I try not to get sucked in by the pity-party vacuum that normally turns on when I missed a quiet moment with my heavenly Father. Too me, it's still simple math. Less time with Him, the more life seemed to look so complicated. Let's just hope I won't make life more complicated.

ALMOST ONE YEAR....

I can't believe I'm about to celebrate my one year here in Cebu this coming May 11. Who would think that I get to do everything I learned at North Point (probably even more) at my home country! God is just amazing and you guys have been instrumental in making my stay here in Cebu possible through your love, prayers and support.
I'm very blessed to have extended families there at North Point and even outside of Georgia that continually pray for me and the ministry here. Your prayers have kept me going and have encouraged me lots of times especially during moments of testing and questioning. We all go through that but by God's grace we can hang on as we continue to trust in His promises that He's not ever going to forsake us.
As the Lord leads, I'll be serving here in Cebu long-term. So please continue to pray with me that funding for the ministry as well as my living expenses would consistently come in. God has used you in a great way and I know only He can repay you for everything you've done.
A number of young people, even young adults now help volunteer at our local church, Quest, and it's all because of your help. You would previously see them roaming around streets creating commotion but because of God's unfailing love to everyone, these kids now help reach out to the same folks they used to hang out with. God does continue to perform miracles, the miracle of changed lives. Thank you again for being part of our ministry here. God bless you!!!
