I never thought that I would hurt so bad when people I met a few months ago deal with issues of the heart. It kills me to see a family go through pain one after the other. I've been asking myself how I can help without overstepping my boundaries. Another deals with an issue that I used to struggle with and I try to be very careful not to be the "Holy Spirit" to him. Believe me, I used to be like "that" to some friends of mine back in my Bible School days and boy if I meet myself then, I would probably slap 'me' in the face and bring me back to reality, not to some outlandish 'holier than thou' environment that not even my alter ego Daniel can come in. (It's a joke) Anyway, it's my prayer that I'd be sensitive to what God wants, not what I think God wants. It's so easy to fall into that trap. Please pray with me that I'd know when it's time to shut up and when it's time to talk...whether to encourage, exhort, scold if needed, uplift, sharpen, scold if needed... oh I already said that.
