Come home running...

What do you say to someone that is so hard on himself for not finding a job, and he's about to give up because he feels that his world just crumbled and toppled all over him, the weight so unbearable that he just doesn't know where to go. How can you encourage someone when you yourself is discouraged? You were kind'a hoping that there'd be someone that day to lift you up or encourage you with a word but for some unknown reason you find yourself alone in a crowded place. As I look back on those circumstances I had been, I realized that God wanted me at that moment to just learn to depend on Him, not on anyone else that I could see, feel or touch but just Him, the author and finisher of our faith, the maker and creator of the world I'm stepping on, the very God that exclaimed "I forgive you" even before I uttered my repentant claims, the One who kept cheering me on when I thought that everyone else didn't care on what's going on with me. So to you, me and everyone that get discouraged, I say we are going to go through times like that but the thing is, we may feel alone but as we trust God in what we're going through, we will be able to move forward and look back in time and say thanks Father that I was able to go through it and it made me wiser, stronger and more than ever in love with YOU. I come home running to YOU!!!
